Easy to maintain, quick to scale: ZEISS migrates SAP applications to the Microsoft Cloud
SAP applications, such as Treasury and Risk Management, SAP ERP, SAP BW, or SAP HCM, are the very core of a company. For its SAP applications, ZEISS had opted for an on-premises setup—an outdated and less flexible solution that was difficult to operate and modernize. Then, in 2017, the company made a decision: it would migrate business-critical SAP applications to the Microsoft Cloud with the help of Azure. ZEISS now benefits from unlimited scalability, flexibility, automation, and high speed in application development and use.
